After the success of bringing the wisdom of medicine asana, plants and nature to Hot House Yoga in StAndrews, Katrino is back with Ceremony.
Ceremony - recognising the sacred within a space and within yourself so that you can dive deeper into whatever you have going on in your life.
Katrino holds these sacred spaces in honour of the movements of the seasons and thinks when nature transitions, it's important to take some time out and notice the transition in us : we are nature and nature is us. We move with the seasons because as human beings, we are part of the earth so we will instinctively begin to feel the shift and this has an impact on decisions we make, the energy we have and the direction we decide to take.
You will be led through a seasonal & elemental vinyasa based yoga asana practice and a deeply restorative reflective stillness so that you can find your own medicine for right now. Everything you already need is already inside of you and sometimes all it takes is a little reflection to find it...
In this workshop, Katrino will guide you through making your own seasonal smudge stick to take away with you.
Bring yourself, blankets, cosy clothes, any plants you would like to add to your smudge stick, essential oils, precious or inspirational items to add to our centre plant inspired altar (crystals, photos etc)
Be prepared clothes wise and mind wise for a yoga practice and going inwards. Please note there will be use of smoke in this ceremony.
P L E A S E N O T E
Within these spaces you are free and here to find your own medicine. It is not the plants or anyone else that does your exploration or healing - it is the intention, your own symbolism and connection to any experience - and that is where the real magic happens.
Everything you need is already within you.
